Moshav Atrot- story of pioneer settlement north of Jerusalem and one of the first moshavim in Israel The story begins with a group of young people at the outbreak of World War I are organizing a workgroup called "Qalandiya" and go up the hills of Jerusalem, first living in the Arab village "Qalandiya" and process the acquired land area, and in 1919 establishing Moshav called Atarot. Sons of Founding members tell of life in solitude struggle rocky land scarce water and soil and glorious achievements despite enormous difficulties, the days of the conflict and terrorism on the part of neighbors, the Arab Revolt, the blockade during the war in 1948, the moshav evacuation order and bitter battle in defending the road to Jerusalem.
